What I Offer
I offer one to one care from the initial 'no obligation' appointment to the 28th day after the birth of your baby.
I offer:-
- antenatal care
- parent education
- home birth
- water birth at home
- VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean section - at home)
- hospital attendance
- lotus birth
- postnatal care
- breastfeeding support
I also offer a 'stand alone' postnatal care package, which means you have support at the other end of a phone at any time, day or night, as well as home visits to support you. This is particularly helpful in those early breastfeeding days. This not only provides continuity of care, but empowers you to gain confidence with handling and feeding your new baby.

By having the same midwife throughout your pregnancy, this can help reduce the possibility of conflicting advice when several health professionals are involved in your care.
Knowing the midwife who is going to be present at your birth can reduce unnecessary stress and anxiety. In most areas within the NHS system, it cannot provide this level of continuity.
